Tina A. Hobson, BSW, LSW has been in the helping profession for over 25 years, working as a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio. Ms. Hobson received her BA in Social Work from Capital University in Columbus Ohio. Tina attended John Carroll University where she studied Mental Health Counseling.
Ms. Hobson has managed many social service programs including those associated with The State of Ohio and Cuyahoga County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services. She has worked with the criminal justice system implementing a chemical dependency program for Northeast PreRelease Center for Women (Cleveland’s only State Prison for Women) and The Greater Cleveland Drug Court Program, which gives first time drug abuse offenders a chance to turn their lives around without having a criminal record.
Tina speaks publicly and advocates for women’s rights including prevention of domestic violence along with sponsoring and hosting Women’s Empowerment events. Tina has spoken to thousands educating on the devastation of addiction to alcohol and other drugs by telling her personal experience of being delivered from 20 plus years of using everything from alcohol to crack cocaine. Tina believes that her deliverance from alcohol and other drugs is the greatest thing that she offers the community and the world. Tina volunteers with The Center for Search and Investigation, helping to find missing children.
She is the Author of International Best Selling “Oh How He Loves Me, Reflections of God’s Love For Me and For You”. Tina is also co-author of the International Best Selling Anthology titled; Success in Beauty: The Secrets to Effortless Fulfillment and Happiness.
Tina is presently the Host of I Am A Superwoman Radio which airs weekly via Blog Talk Radio and Facebook. I Am A Superwoman Radio addresses relevant women’s issues, providing empowerment, inspiration, education, and motivation.
Tina sits on the Board of Directors of The May Howard Community Project along with The Henry Johnson Center. Tina has sat on the Board of Directors for the Eastside Ecumenical Consortium and The Women’s Entrepreneurs of America.
Tina volunteers at the Center for Dialysis Care where she humbly and happily sends out birthday cards monthly to patients who may not get a card from anyone else.
When Tina is not helping others with their personal needs, she manages her own hair business, Tina’s Glory LLC, providing women with the highest quality Remy and Brazilian hair weave along with offering them the opportunity to buy and brand their own hair weave. Tina’s Glory LLC is motivated by Scripture in the Holy Bible 1 Corinthians 11:15 “but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering”.
Tina is presently employed at Community Behavioral Health Center as a Counselor and Lead Marketer.
Tina is a proud member of Toastmaster’s International. Born in Ohio, raised in Chicago, Illinois and Chagrin Falls Ohio, Tina currently resides in Maple Heights Ohio where she works hard at marketing her businesses. Tina is the mother of three, grandmother of three and great-grandmother of one.
Tina believes that with hard work, tenacity but first of all having faith in the Provider of All, All Things are Possible.
